National Security New Laser Focus Strengthens National Security

The pen is mightier than the sword! No longer do the finest of American Patriots have to stay indoors crouching from fear of an ominous eye in the
sky or be weary of a peak from the neighbors Venetian blinds. Responsible adults can now use the internet freely without fear on being targeted by
political right wing extremist who “Cry Wolf” or Terrorism to bring harm to fellow citizens or to distort relations with bordering countries to promote
their extremist right wing ideologies and fleece the government by wasteful spending under the guise of National Security at the State level. National
Security does not rest in the powers of the State but in the powers of the Federal Government- God Bless America!

The Christen Monitor Journalist Howard LaFranchi Reports today, John Brennan, President Obama’s chief counterterrorism adviser, in a speech
Wednesday in Washington corrected a student’s question “We intentionally do not use ‘global war on terror’ We’re in a war with Al Qaeda.”  We now
can all rest with ease and move about freely under the protection of due cause and civil rights at the street level while information that is collected by
the Federal Agencies by any means necessary will not be used to intimidate, retaliate, or used against you at the State level including political
adversaries expressing their opinions in media or social networks useless you’re an actual National Security Threat by promoting violence or
succumb to Al Qaida’s hateful ideology.  According to the Christen Monitor Report:

“The new strategy will focus on such adherents inside the US, whom Brennan described as “individuals, sometimes with little or no direct physical
contact with Al Qaeda, who have succumbed to its hateful ideology.”

Among the examples Brennan gave was the November 2009 Fort Hood shooting rampage, allegedly carried out by an Army major shouting “God is
great” in Arabic.

A key component of Obama’s counterterrorism strategy will be a renewed emphasis on building “strong partnerships between government and
communities here at home, including Muslim and Arab-American” communities, said Brennan, who chose Johns Hopkins School of Advanced
International Studies to make his remarks.

Most importantly,  is the engagement between government and communities which allows all American Patriots to join forces against those that
promote violence of Al Qaeda’s hateful ideology which is the duty of every American to protect our freedoms and democracy.

The monitor did not elaborate on the ways and means to build stronger partnerships, so until the plan is announced, just pick up the phone and call
the 911 for emergencies of your local police department and file a report just like any responsible citizen would do.
The Obama Administration terminated the Bush administration NAO domestic surveillance policy of 2006 in June 2009. Last week media announced a new
"Laser Focus" policy. No longer do the finest of American Patriots have to stay indoors crouching from fear of an ominous eye in the  sky or be weary of a peak

The Ominous fear of being watched by our own government is now replaced by a sense of duty as participation in or an extension of the National Security
network as the eyes and ears in your local communities against those who use violence as a way to promote hateful extremist ideologies- We are not being
watched,  we are watching them!

Howard LaFranchi Report, is rich with other details concerning the change in approach to National Security threats, by all means I recommend reading the full
article with emphasis on the Obama’s administration
“Laser Focus” that replaces the counter terrorism strategy of 2006 with a new policy to strengthen our security and protect us from National Security Threats-
Stay vigilant and participate as the extension or the
eyes and ears of our National Security Defense!

As United States Citizens it has always been our duty to be Vigilant or Keeping careful watch for possible danger or difficulties; however, our individual
participation is especially important now while the treat is still real, especially at a time of war!

Again I highly recommend reading the full article at http://news.yahoo.com/us-unveils-counterterrorism-strategy-three-key-parts-223855474.html
The Bush Administration in 2006, authorized the sharing of any information collected by any means  with Law Enforcement and Civilian Private Security Firms
including intrusive equipment by Satellite or any  surveillance devices not limited to electronic equipment.

These devices have been abused by Texas  leadership  which include but not limited to Internet censorship, behavioral political control networks, and harmful
biological or electronic devices that are classified; however exist, and have been  used against targeted peaceful political adversaries, retaliation, illegal
gathering of investigative information, threating intimidation, black list, employment to buy votes, and human behavioral experiments that have caused harm
and injury to unknown numbers of Texas Citizens.

Fortunately, some Texans have come forward putting themselves at risk of more abuse, to insure fellow citizens are aware of the hazards and by all means
protect themselves and resolve unexplainable harmful  by reporting damages to the Attorney General Of The United States of America.

Supporting documentation is available in public domain titled "Satellite Surveillance: Domestic Issues" which questions violations of Civil Liberties of illegal
searches not only from Satellite Surveillance but from any surveillance  device or equipment and the sharing of the information between the Department of
Defense and Law Enforcement.

"In May 2007, the DNI designated DHS as the executive agent and functional manager of what was designated as a National Applications Office (NAO). There
was, however, no public notice of the establishment of the new office at that time."

"Inside the United States (as well as abroad), DOD support for law enforcement agencies is authorized in accordance with chapter 18 of title 10, U.S. Code.
Section 371 specifically authorizes the Secretary of  Defense to share information acquired during military operations, and encourages the armed forces to
plan their activities with an eye to the production of incidental civilian benefits. Under sections 372 through 374, DOD DOD personnel are permitted to provide
training and expert advice to civilian law enforcement personnel, and may conduct maintenance on equipment it provides."

"The Bush Administration delayed the establishment of the NAO and provided an opportunity for further congressional consideration of the issues involved but
took steps to establish the NAO for some purposes even before important legal issues were resolved. Having conducted a review of the issue, the Obama
Administration terminated the NAO [June 2009], but has not provided detailed information about current  procedures for the domestic use of satellites for
domestic purposes."

I my opinion and from personal experience based on tangible evidence, the Obama administration terminated NAO in June 2009 in order to protect all citizens
of the United States and who are aboard from  such abuses which allowed many leaders of state legislative and executive offices  from using the threat of
terrorism,  trafficking, or threat of human lives as a harmful political control by the act of  "Crying Wolf" to justify such intrusive harmful behavior to retain
political power by those of pubic trust.

Most importantly, the breach of classified information to police and civilians have made us vulnerable by attacks within and without the boundaries of the United
States. What was once reserved by the CIA and  FBI  has been assimilated to the police operating at the community level exposing classified information in
public domain and used to breach our borders as moles within police departments.

The most  recent revelation is the three employees of America’s self-proclaimed toughest sheriff  Maricopa County, Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio involved in
human and drug trafficking and a Texas Sheriff sentence to ten years for drug trafficking.
Moving Forward In South Central Texas

A  Response to a letter from the President of The United States The Honorable Barack Obama

By Gregory O'Dell  July 4, 2011 Living in one of the hardest hit districts from the economic collapse of Fall 2008 in South Central Texas, a ride in the
country side makes one's head hang low to avoid the view of every other farm an empty house with broken windows that once had children playing and
a big yellow school bus that was forever in the way of traffic.

Taking a family ride south of San Antonio, the view out the window is of ghost towns in the Old West including an occasional tumble weed that rolls
across "farm to market" roads in need of immediate maintenance.

These small Texas "farm to market" roads are the Royal Highways that makes mineral resources accessible and the trading routes of food producing
farms trigger economic prosperity of Texas City States of the new millennium.

All Rural Roads lead to American prosperity including our South American neighbors. Not too long ago, one could drive safely from North San Antonio
on the Pan American Freeway all the way to Chile in 1995.

Reference: http://www.facebook.com/pages/...

I have seen this down turn before when the strength of the American dollar put travelers on airplanes that ruined 1000s of miles of the passenger rail all
the way to Mexico City.

Not long ago, I could hop on train in one of two railway stations in Old San Antone with a backpack and a few hundred dollars in my pocket. The scenic
view by rail was worth the few extra hours to visit friends living near ancient city ruins of the Aztec empire deep and safely in to what has become a DMZ
zone 500 miles wide between our border and the main metropolitan areas of the Republic of Mexico.

You ask for my ideas to keep America moving forward. I can tell you that heads are up and people standing tall with the bustle of rough neck oil workers
filling once empty cafes in small South Central Texas towns with just a dream-  The American Dream!

Economic recovery may be years down the road, but you cannot tell it now on the faces of locals after the permitting opened for the Eagle Ford Shale
drilling operations.

If we want to keep moving forward in South Central Texas,  is to go back in time of conservative spending by State, government, and citizens. Invest
some of the profits of oil wealth back in passenger rail that will make Argentina accessible to the average middle class family and heal relations with war
torn Mexico which will strengthen our border security better than a battalion of Army Soldiers, Squadron of Surveillance Drones, or an impenetrable wall
twenty feet high, stretching from Del Rio to Matamoras.

Some would say that would take a miracle, or a goal that is not obtainable within reason.  While others before us such as Friar  Bartolome de Las Casas
wrote in his letters to the King of Spain "Apologética historia de las Indias" about the same Royal Highway made without heavy equipment or metal tools
as follows:

"Then, there is that miracle -- such it may be called for being the most remarkable, singular and skilful construction of its kind, I believe, in the world -- of
the two highways.... across the mountains and along the coast. The finer and more admirable of these extends for at least six and perhaps eight
hundred leagues and is said to reach the provinces of Chile....In Spain and Italy I have seen portions of the highway said to have been built by the
Romans from Spain to Italy, but it is quite crude in comparison with the one built by these peoples...."

A miracle is a positive event in our lives that seem to oppose the laws of physics or the natural order of things.  Reinvesting in passenger rail, Rural
Road maintenance, and Freight Lines from De Rio, Laredo, and Eagle Pass, would just take an investment of profits paid by oil resources. The return
on investment would not only save Billions is wasteful sending on border control but regain trusted relations with our South American Neighbors and a
balance in economic trade.

The construction and new routes of roads and freight train rail are already in the works by oil companies to gain access to Eagle Ford Shale in South
Central Texas. Why not keep on moving forward with rebuilding by laying new track where once the old systems lay, infrastructure lost by inexpensive
fuel consuming air travel over the last 30 years in South Central Texas.

Any reasonable human being would say that most people believe in an eternal essence that has some type of mystical powers to protect and help the living or
the spirits of the dead that give us hope in times of uncertainty or despair. Perhaps the essence of these spirits are like Saint Francis, something grand or
more encompassing; something that bonds all living things together or a common everyday god that dwells in the peripheral blind spot of social invisibility, if
many believe that there is God that cares for the living and those that have passed on while others consider God and spirits as primitive myths.

A century ago, during the colonization of India which was a part of the Great British Commonwealth the Hindu term ‘Atma’ etched on ancient Sanskrit tablets
that refers to the soul body coined by ancient Hindu sages was interpreted and translated by nineteenth century Christian Linguist as a dogmatic primitive
myth because they understood spirit or soul in the realm of faith or outside sound scientific rationale.

As European states emerged from the dark ages in the 14th century, the scientific method of observation that failed to save the Roman Empire from self-
destruction separated, and in many cases rejected 2000 years of academic advancement achieved in Asian religious institutions into what is now determined
to be either the ontological or logical and can be illustrated today as the ideology of separation of church and state. More distinctly the belief in Divinity
separated from empirical facts we call realism even though most of what we perceive rides in the blind spot of social cognition that some can conceive and
others cannot. Realist believe that our perceptions of the empirical universe is independent from the cognitive self sometimes called the separatist view,
dualism, or many other compelling theories, such as epiphenomenalism or the brain in a vat example,  a range of what are reasonable rational views to the
bizarre or those views that could be true but lack the building blocks of correspondence we call facts.

The advancement of our understanding of physics has contributed to many new technologies some beneficial such as the ball point pen and some destructive
such as the hydrogen bomb; however, the laws of physics do not change, only our perception of the natural order of things change the rules of physics and by
way of the scientific method of observation we determine what is real and call those perceptions facts. Depending on the most dominant culture, tradition, or
beliefs what is real or what we call scientific fact become linguistic determinates, even if the evidence shows the contrary.

The British linguists who translated Hindu text a decade ago still cause havoc as linguistic determinates, even though they celebrated Christmas in German
tradition while justifying the gifts left under the tree to youngest of their family as gifts from Santa Claus, by the time these children reach the age of six,
determined by tradition, fess-up that Santa Claus does not exist then sent them off to Sunday school to learn about the Devil.

Conversely, what is viewed as ghosts in the West and viewed as atmas in the East are in fact referring to the same soul body of Christian faith.  Unfortunately,
the British Linguists who interpreted the ancient Hindu Text  based their translations on scientific proof according to their own traditional religious faiths so in
contemporary writings both positions are today considered credulous by the determinate nature of languages.

More specifically, the Hindu term atma has historic importance as evidenced by the existence of these Souls. Any view that includes a human body and a
separate heavenly soul body share the pluralist view of multiple bodies. The heavenly afterlife in which the soul dwells is also a belief in multidimensional
planes. It seems odd to justify what is commonly understood as true; however, the determinates of language begs complex explanations to arrive at the same
simple truths.

Countless pages of ancient as well as contemporary text describe the soul, or the I-ness of a being that determines its existence as the personification of
individual experience in the material world.  This pluralist view of multiple bodies is shared by Christian, Hebrew, and Islamic faiths as well as the majority of
worldly religions.

Any perceiver is an eyewitness and perception is the I-ness of the individual that uses the human body as a temporary home while living on earth. This I-ness
also applies to those who may not have a visual sense such as someone that is blind. Certainly those that have not eyes to see can not be an eyewitness to
solve a crime, but they do perceive and do possess this I-ness that is the soul.

The Story of Helen Keller, a deaf and blind child who pioneered braille so she could read and write and communicate with others is an excellent example.
Recent studies in autism contradict what was thought to be a scientific fact that the autistic could not have cognition of their self or others just to be proved
wrong a few years later as autistic scholars emerge from universities with degrees every graduation year or perhaps four years of hard study has gotten
easier and that’s why they presented me with a Bachelors of Philosophy with a minor in anthropology?

I’ll say it again, critical thinking never did me much good in matters of the soul, and what I tried to prove to Mary, Mary proved to me. What Mary and I share in
common regardless of culture or belief is that we are both just everyday common mystics, a state achieved without special training or gained by rational
thought, such as my trans-personality I tried to keep in the closet from Mary to find mysticism is something we all hold in common a knowledge of the Divine
available to any situated knower such as the truth concerning  Santa Claus, he exists. Just because he does not leave presents at your house, does not mean
they are not left at my home. It could be the case of behaving naughty and not nice!

The story of Santa Claus originated in the Black Forest of Eastern Germany, as towns people reported a Monk from a local monastery visiting their homes in
nearby villages at the same time of night and with a sweet tooth for cookies, yet the Monk never physically left the Monastery. This particular Monk would
assist people in times of need by leaving the Monastery wall in a transpersonal state and could appear in multiple places at the same time giving comfort to
those in need with spiritual gifts.

The contemporary story of Santa Claus comes from the work of this monk reported to authorities on numerous occasions. Today’s story of Santa Claus tries
to  make sense out of the reports which includes the means for his travel with a swift running reindeer team that can fly to so many homes but never was
reported missing from the Monastery.

Since none of the towns folk reported any physical evidence, excluding some missing cookies and pastries, or forced entry,  the folk lore consensus at the
time determined that he must enter their homes by the roof chimney top and descended down the chimney to the family room that usually was the family
hearth that was used at times to dry wet stockings. None of the village people complained about his appearance; they only reported the mystical monk to
confirm others’ stories of good tidings and spiritual advice. Those that were not visited by the monk would leave out his favorites, cookies and pastries to try to
attract him to their homes. Just as the Buddhist of Thailand do with their spirit guess houses extended high on poles.

I know the story as one of two wounded American soldiers shot escaping a German execution squad and by the grace of God made it to this monastery for
medical attention.  But my boyhood friend and comrade in arms received a fatal shot in the back and I left him with tears as he lay face down in a pool of blood
on the white driven snow. I turned and ran for safety in the black forest thicket all through the moon light night until out of exhaustion and lost of blood I came
upon the very monastery just describe and two monks were that were sweeping the snow off the entrance helped me inside were I received medical attention
for months. They gave me refuge, hidden from German soldiers disguised as a fellow brother of the same monastic faith.

The mysterious monk was also the Abbot of the four story high monastery built in ancient times with large stones quarried from the nearby forest. He kept me
busy with many tasks such as sweeping, cleaning, and kitchen duty but he would occasionally take me on one of his many twilight visits showing me his work.

A long time passed and I seemed to be well healed and kept asking the Abbot if I could leave to rejoin my battalion. He would never give me a direct answer or
diverted as if he did not hear me when I asked permission to leave until one day I demanded an answer why I was being held. All the monks that cared for me
including the Abbot, who they called Simon, knew that I also was killed trying to escape and my body laid was still laying under the snow next to my boyhood
friend and comrade in arms. When I realized that I was actually dead and they had mislead me, I became angry demanding why they did not tell me of my
demise. The Abbot’s deep blue eyes peered deep into my own and said, “Who am I to pronounce another man dead. Did you not serve the people of the
village with me on nightly visitation and took to scrubbing greasy pots in the monastery kitchen till they shined anew? Is this the work of a dead man?”

A few days later he led me to a tunnel in the basement of the ancient monastery which I passed on to another life and time as a newly born child to a family
and safe circumstances he had chosen personally so that I could assist him when ready- well actually at his beck and call. Even though he had carefully
placed me in the right home with the best of parents I was doomed from the start with several diseases and the attention of one of his adversaries that did not
want me to succeed for whatever mission I was sent, I still do not know; however, I still retain the memories of a time before I was born in to this world and had
no eyes to see.

I write you this my story today 53 years later, born just in time to see the first men to travel to and back from the moon and witnessed the carnage of the
technical age with regular nuclear detonations including the hideous Hydrogen Bomb on black and white television but on some occasions watch on our
neighbors brand new RCA color TV just before the Walt Disney Show would come on.

Lyndon Johnson, President at the time, seemed to like to scare the daylights out of people with regular warnings of a nuclear attack until He decided “I will not
run for reelection as your President”  as if anybody really wanted him to be their President, especially if you still have living memory of an accidental Nuclear
detonation in your on South Texas Town.

That's right, on 13 November 1963 at approximately 11: am, an accentual nuclear detonation shook the whole town of San Antonio, Texas with it epoch center
in the Medina Base Annex south west of town that broke windows 30 miles away on the north side of San Antonio. The only known accidental nuclear device
detonation openly reported in the United States of America.

Thank God for miracles that seem to oppose the laws of physics or the natural order of things, That saved the world from thermal Nuclear destruction on
November 13th while President John F Kennedy was in San Antonio Texas around 11: am. Sadly, he was assassinated weeks later in Dallas Texas and
Lyndon Johnson was sworn in a President of the United States who took total micro control of the military police action in South Vietnam that I believe would
have ended within months instead of years by the diplomacy of John F. Kidney if he live the life of his term.

There was also a near global nuclear launch triggered in 1982 that leaves many of us with mistrust for human judgment and a strengthening of a belief in a
common everyday  god as real as the invisible nose on your face outside of peripheral perception that rides in the blind spot of social recognition for some but
not for others.

Although Mary and I share a common mystical knowledge, religions and academia have done an injustice to others who don’t believe in an everyday common
god that works miracles in their lives.  Any perceiver is a situated knower and their perception is the I-ness of the individual that uses the human body as a
temporary home while living on earth. This I-ness also applies to those who may not have a visual sense such as someone that is blind. As mentioned
previously, the Story of Helen Keller, a deaf and blind child who pioneered braille so she could read and write and communicate with others is an excellent
example.

A closet Buddhist from birth, I have seized every opportunity to participate in any spiritual rite, food fast or initiation beginning with my first Cub Scout pin,
several baptisms, and autographs from the spiritually developed. An initiation is a pilgrim’s rite of passage, sometimes in the physical or in the metaphysical
sense or both. Most initiations in physical sense are ceremonial, symbolizing transformation of the old way of life into a new better richer life fulfilled.

In the physical sense, initiation into any order, say the secret rites of Masons, Rosicrucian’s, or a deep full body dunk baptism of the Christian group of the
same name, symbolize a transformation that has already happened  in the metaphysical sense or at the time of the ceremony in the spiritual sense or religious
sense.

My most profound spiritual initiations have been those of a secret nature; at the time I did not know the initiation was taking place in any sense.  Ceremonial
rites of passage are important to mark a special time or place which is a symbolic trigger eidetic, “able to recall or reproduce things previously seen with
startling accuracy, clarity, and vividness (Microsoft).”

Anne, my better half, announced that she was staying in Guangzhou referring to me as 'Johnny' and rightfully nicknamed my younger travel companion "Hajji',
refused to travel along with us on our spiritual Quest (Johnny Quest © Hanna-Barbera).

My Traveling Companion and I had just reached the summit of the staircase that stretched up from the basement of the Winter Palace in Lhasa Tibet. Two
young barefoot monks age 14 at the most, who were wearing socks that the bottoms had worn through, jump us and rattle on about a silk tunnel ceremony
and that we are fortunate to arrive at the right time for the fun. I was dumb founded by the chatter until my Chinese friend translated Mandarin from our
Tibetan mountain guide who translated Tibet to Chinese from the young pilgrims.

The young Tibetan monks led us to a room with a tall open door at least 10 feet tall and 4 foot on center. Just over the threshold lay a silk tube 36 inches in
diameter with Chinese dragon embroideries on the side which they called "The Silk Dragon." The silk tunnel snaked through out the dark room and into side
channels as appeared from above. I wondered, "How many silk worms and how many years passed to produce the silk tunnel?" My thoughts were interrupted
by screams of horror with a occasional fear defining laugh bellowing from the dragon.

The two young monks pushed us forward as our knees bended down to crawl into the dragon, but I did not really understand which end we were entering into
or if it was on any significance.

First, the mountain guide then Hajji set off crawling as I followed with the realization that if you do not ride the lead elephant the view is always the same. We
began crawling on all fours as screaming dragon initiates squeezed by us with horrified claustrophobic faces. Throughout the tunnel we had to make decisions
at crossroads stitched in the sides of the dragon.

Our mountain guide did not do so well if the third guy in line had to back up and make the decision on which silk side tunnel would be best route to crawl
through the maze, which was always away from the screaming voices. Like mice that finally find the cheese at the end of the maze a fellow Slick Tunnel initiate
stuck his head in a hole too small for the body then pulled his head out quickly then jet passed us to the entrance screaming.

We all challenge each other to stick our heads in the hole, laughing as if we knew it was a joke but the screams told us something different. I was push up
against a side and a tear revealed what was on the other side. A yellow hat monk with what look like a freshly sharpened Japanese samurai sword would raise
the blade and, as a head stuck through, he would bring it down with force as to remove the head with one swing. From what I had seen he was not a very good
shot.

We all dared each other and turned around to go back several times then Hajji got a bold look on his face and stuck his head in. At that distance I could see a
shadow silhouette outline of a raised sword on the tunnel sides coming down on to Hajji's neck. The swordsman missed again as Hajji  jet past me to the
entrance with a horrified look on his face.

Finally, I crawled forward and stuck my head in as the Tibetan Samurai backed off and was replaced by the largest feet I have ever seen as my eyes slowly
followed up dragon silk trousers held up by a rope to a mountain of a monk with a big wide smile, looking back at me. I sat there on all fours gazing at the
shining countenance of this high Buddhist initiate and slowing crawled backward, then turning making my way back to my companions. Many years later, I see
clearly with vivid startling accuracy the special rite of passage that took place on a cold November day or the year 1992 as I made my way through the Silk
Tunnel Initiation, the meaning best left as a secret, why should I explain and ruin a good thing?

Critical thinking has never done me much good in matters of the Soul, but there is one thing I can say with certainly, religious ritual did not develop from the
adoration of nature as a result of human reason as animism defined by Tyler. Ritual developed from a innate universal knowing available to any situated
knower. As cultural margins developed into localized tradition from what groups of people held familiar as true, developed into dogmatic religious rites of
political control as populations grew and natural resources became scarce to bring order to those had and those that had not.

The earliest civilizations of Mesopotamia and Pre-dynastic Egypt developed from regional religious patterns into complex social systems of centralized control
in the late fourth fifth millennia BC. The civilized life emerged first in Mesopotamia, known today as Iraq from agriculture centers dominating the fertile biblical
frontiers of the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers around 4,500 BC.

Temple city states of Egypt develop along the banks of the Nile shortly after the first settlements were established five centuries later. Artifacts excavated from
the Tigris-Euphrates and Nile alluvial systems demonstrate a high social degree of political order administered from city and religious centers equaled by
Rome and modern day civilization.

Civilizations are distinguished from populated settlements by the degree of organizational development used to administer activities of social groups.
Archaeologists piece together evidence of religious, political, and economic systems into groups called analytical segments of cultures.  These groups
correlate to social patterns, or models used to simplify and better understand the organizational stages of city development. We understand Ancient Middle
East cities as well as Pre-Dynastic Egyptian temples, corporations by comparing social patterns deciphered from artifacts.

The earliest settlers of Mesopotamia were wandering nomadic bands arriving in the area of today’s Iraq as early as the Paleolithic period. These early settlers
met their needs by moving from one location to the next. Scarcities of food created by drought or seasonal climatic changes were resolved by moving away
from poorer conditions.  Some regions were more desirable, prolonging the stay.  Hunting gathering bands formed on choice differentiated hinterland
providing a wider variety of resources of game, herbs and grain. The basic social patterns of these settlers were assumed by clan leaders, or chiefs, ruling by
tribal consensus.

As populations increased in the newly settled land, more complex social system developed. During the period of 6000-3200 BC, isolated settlements
dominated choice lands with access to water. Evidence of food production and food storage were already highly developed before this period. We know little
of the religious patterns before the appearance of art; however animism is believed to be established before the pre-pottery stage of early humans. Animism,
as viewed by Edward Tyler is the belief in nature. Tyler believed that ritual grew out of beliefs in nature as a result of human reasoning.

An increasing population created a need for more crops and irrigation systems appear during the Neolithic period of 6000 B.C. Irrigation systems require
workers and administrators to manage the construction, maintenance, and flow of water. The irrigation theory suggests that complex societies of Mesopotamia
developed into complex social systems from the administration of irrigating canals. These social systems grew more complex as workers were paid by food
rations which in turn created diverse niches of economic opportunities.

The Halaf period 5300 B.C. “named after Tell Halaf in Northern Syria” marks the earliest pottery period of finely painted pieces produced from homes. Painted
pottery created a demand for specialists which slowly progressed into trade. As populations grew and centralized, townships emerged around local villages
creating more complex social patterns. The rules of social interaction between villages now formed to a consensus of people not of the same decent
administrated by group chieftains.

Sudden ecological changes around the third millennium B.C. created a need for more hectares of farmland for irrigation, and new technologies to irrigate. As
sea levels continued to fall less water was accessible to irrigate. The fall in sea level also allowed some river tributaries to dig deeper making irrigation
impossible while water courses changed, land-locking townships. Populations migrated to regional centers which created a demand for a more diverse
administration in order to mange growing populations of workers of various skills around 4500 BC.

The first cities emerged from a need for a complex centralized control of leaders both religious and political. Regional control of isolated settlements became
necessary, especially settlements of northern Mesopotamia controlling the head waters.  Written accounts of the early Dynastic period around 3100 BC
reported a continual dispute for borders and borderland controls.

Southern Mesopotamia was divided up into small city states in the early third millennium BC. Tablets from buildings built on top levels at the Eana district of
Uruk produced numerous tablets. These tablets account for a new centralized religious system of political control. Populations began migrating to the centers
of power. Sumerian Temple hymns list 35 city-states just in the south. Each city state was associated with a city-god and sanctuary. The Sumerian's believed
that these gods actually founded the city states and honored city gods with and through temple hierarchies.

Enmerkar was builder of Uruk, and said to have reigned for hundreds of years as listed in the Sumerian King List known as the “Babyloniaca”  written by
Berossus between 290 and 278 BC. The “Bayloniaca” states Enmerkar “brought the official king ship from the city of Eana, after his father Mesh-ki-ag-gasher,
son of Utu, had “entered the sea and disappeared.” Enmerkar is also known from Sumerian mythology as “Enmerkar and the Lord of Aratta” the son of Utu
and built the temple at Eridu.

The new social trend extended the nuclear class of elite to clan level. Charles Keith Maisels quotes Sumerologist I.M Diaknoff and I.J. Gelb from his text “Early
Civilizations of the world”
Stop Being So Religious

What do sad people have in common?

It seems they have all built a shrine to the past.

And often go there and do a strange wail and
worship

What is the beginning of happiness?

It is to stop being so Religious.

“enable us to see the structure of ancient family and clan much better than at any other time of Mesopotamian history.
Texts such as the Manishtushu Oblelisk describe the ancestry of sellers which is often as long six generations. These
long lists of generations provide us evidence that there were also extended families besides nuclear families, which in
turn were grouped into larger social configurations up to the level of “clans”. (Gel et al. 1991:2) (Maisels p163).”
Ningirsu as lord of Girsu also worshiped as Ninurta was the god of Nippur. The cult of Ninurta can be traced to earliest Sumerian mythology. Ninurta was
worshipped in Nippur as a triad of deities with Enlil as his father and Ninlil as his mother. His father Enlil was the chief God or ancestral city god of Nippur that
attempted to mobilize the individual cities of Sumer. One version of the Ninurta tale illustrates the monster Anzu that steals the tablets of Destiny. In order for
Enlil to maintain rule, he must protect the “The Tablets of Destiny”. Ninurta slays the monster and saves his father’s kingdom.

The story of Ningirsu shows important associations almost religious relationships that Sumerians have to the written word, usually on tablets, as if ancient
inscriptions determined events of good and bad fortune. Certainly bad fortune would reflect a lack of respect to city Gods by the elite.  Writing becomes a
specialized function of scribes as Sumerian expressions etched on clay tablets associate kings as living gods during the same period establishing religious
doctrine written in stone.

As economic, political, and religious social systems became more complex, writing became a specialized function of scribes. During the Early Dynastic I 3500
B.C. and II period 2500 B.C. Writing changes from logographic to simpler symbols. Text from the Shuruppak site was the latest advancement that reproduced
the speech exactly. Previous ‘sentences” had consisted of a string of nouns. It is now possible to express syntactical relationships as entireties.

More advance writing is seen in the inscriptions of the ruler Ur-Nanshe of Lagash shortly after the Shuruppak texts. These writing are referred to as “royal
inscriptions” which, from then on, rulers can give lengthy detail reports of their actions (p 137). These lengthy stories first began in the period of Eannatum of
Lagash 2000 B.C. Most importantly the scribes were of the elite population of political control.

Sumerian burial artifacts are similar to pre-dynastic Egyptian pieces made of precious stones or finely worked metal; such items are associated with an elite
ruling class both in Mesopotamia and Pre-dynastic Egypt. Although the works were from a different culture, the quality of material was “fit for a king.” Artifacts
uncovered from the Sumerian cities of Kish, Nippur and Ur such as jewelry, gold, and metal crafts were similar to  Egyptian Nagada III phase of burial goods,
such as jewelry, gold, and metal crafts “marked elitism”, explains Bill Manley,
“such expensive items were more widely distributed amongst the populations than would be the case in dynastic
times. Also by this time, large brick-built towns appeared at sites such as Elephantine, Herakonplois, and
Nagada…and monumental cult buildings.
Notably, Egyptian temples were of equal political/ religious importance of the Ziggurats of Sumer. However, the Egyptian cultural of the dynastic period built
the largest tomb temple palaces of the Near East at least matching the architectural design of Mesopotamia’s Ziggurats.

The temples of Egypt differ from the Ziggurats of Sumer as functional storage and distribution centers for  agricultural commodities as well as religious
importance. Ziggurats are reported to be more of a worshiping citadel for ritual cult activities. The temple corporations of pre-dynastic Egypt facilitated as
living quarters of temple workers with segregated facilities for stores and local crafts.

Egyptian temples accommodated their own workers such as butcher, baker, brewers, and weavers. Each temple system had a hierarchy of members; the
elite sat among the lofty positions of political control. Economy of any given temple was balanced by an unbalanced budget, for example too many figs not
enough dates meant trade with figs to other temples for dates.

Religious patterns of Mesopotamia and Pre-Dynastic Egypt bear remarkable similarities influenced by demographic and development factors of early
civilization. The Sumerians established the world’s earliest known cities on the alluvial plane of Sumer in southern Mesopotamia around 2800 BC (Sumer).
The cities of Sumer developed into city-states with Strong religious associations synonymous to early Egyptian temple-states five centuries later. The
complex social systems of city-state and temple corporations of both cultures were controlled by elite political groups sanctified by popular religious rituals
and beliefs.

Religious patterns of Mesopotamia and the Nile developed from economic necessity in order to supply food and rations for growing populations in fertile yet
dry climates. Sumer populations relied on complex irrigation systems from drying tributaries of the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. The people of Egypt
depended on Nile seasonal floods with unpredictable famine seasons.  Complex administration systems as well as specialists were required to operate the
irrigation canals of Sumer as well as administrating Egyptian Temple storage/ distribution systems.

In both Mesopotamian and Pre-dynastic Egyptian societies, political power was by proxy of a given god to the established elite class. Power was exercised in
both cultures by the construction of land holding monuments or public works rationed in agricultural commodities to workers of different organizational skills –
so much energy draws people together.

A monarchy of city gods dominated regional areas and cities of pre-dynastic Sumer prior to 3000 B.C.  Kish was the first city established by the Sumerians.
Each city and later city-state was represented by a Sumerian god; although power was with the elite until the Akkadian king Sargon ascended to the throne
2334-2279 B.C.

Just as in pre-dynastic Sumer, archaeologists speculate that proto-kingdoms or a confederacy of the elite may have competed from the throne of Egypt prior
to the Narmer recorded on a Herakonplois temple slate palette as a living god. Religious beliefs of Pre-Dynastic Egypt were probably forged from animism as
with Mesopotamia or could have assimilated along the Levant Coast of Syria to the Nile Delta.

There is more compiling evidence establishing Aha as the first Egyptian king whose remains were buried in Abydos on the western  bank of the Nile south of
the river bend in lower Egypt 2900 B.C. Egyptian influence has been documented well before 2000 BC. Two-way trade is evident by scarabs found in tombs
at Archanes, Gournes and Lebena. Minoan exports, clearly technical achievements of the Levant such as pottery have been recorded as far as Aswan,
Abydos, and Kahun. Likewise, silver vessels discovered at Tod parallels with Cretan pottery and metal work.

Nomadic tribes from the early Holocene epoch also built megaliths 7,000 and 6,500 years ago in southern Egypt 100 km west of Abu Simbel. These people
worship the sacred cow. It is possible that the religious beliefs of Nabta Playa tribe traveled south on the Nile and assimilated religious patterns to
Mesopotamia via the Nile Delta and trail along the Levant sea shore.

In Egypt as well as Mesopotamia, cattle were regarded as the earthly representation of early gods. Both cultures worshiped the bull in various ways and cults.
The Catal Huyk site of Mesopotamia is a good example of the “bull cult.” Preserved horns of bulls set into plaster were excavated from Catal Huyk temples.
The cattle god in Pre-dynastic Egypt held as much importance as the brother gods Horus and Seth.

It is believed that the Nabta Playa tribe worshiped cattle as gods as “Gods of Rain” which strengthens Tyler’s theory of animisms as the basis for religious
patterns of Mesopotamia and Pre-dynastic Egypt. The goddess of Catal Huyk is associated with the bull cult as a goddess of fertility as resembles the
Aurignacian Venuses of 30,000 B.C.  Although religious belief differed in many ways, early religious patterns are evidenced by the worship of cattle and a
goddess of fertility.

Religious beliefs of ancient Egypt centered on a cosmology of Nu, the supreme deity over the vast waste of water post creation. Nu created or gave birth to a
sun god similar to Utu, the Sumerian God. The Egyptian sun god was called Kheyera at dawn, Ra at noon and Tun at dusk Ra created his wife Tefnut and
she gave birth to Seb, God of the Earth and Nat the Goddess of the sky. Out of the union of Nat and Seb came Osiris, Isis, Set and Nepthys.

Osiris had two brothers Horus and Seth. Horus represented Upper Egypt and Seth the southern boundaries. Osiris was their main god poetically reflected in
the poem “The magic Flute”, a story of Osiris and Isis, who was Osiris’ wife that roamed the world looking for the dismembered body parts of her husband.

The sun god Ra is the most important deity of the Nile culture bringing all life into creation. The Egyptians believed that Ra had only to think to materialize
any creature on earth. Ra was worshiped as the first king on Earth. The belief in the sun god as first king gave rise to Pharaoh king-gods of dynastic Egypt.
The trend of sun god to god king is evident in both cultures as Ra in Egypt and Utu as son god of Sumer.

The earliest civilizations of Mesopotamia and Pre-dynastic Egypt developed from regional religious patterns of animism and developed into god-king political
power of city-state or temple corporations. The development of religious patterns of both cultures grew from regional chieftains of ancestral lineage into a
centralized elite based religious/ political control.

Although many differences in actual cults, ritual, and beliefs, both religious systems migrated by necessity to a religious political power in order to control
growing and centralizing populations. Religious patterns of Sumer and pre-dynastic Egypt developed from similar social patterns insuring political power of
the elite prior to true monarchy systems of the dynasty period.

Critical thinking never did me much good in matters of my soul, but reading a quote from Hafiz, a 14th century mystic Mary wrote in our journal, sums up my
belief that animism as describe by Tyler was a respect or fear of the controlling political elite still evident today as advanced civilization, ignoring what we all
share in common, an innate universal or common god, something that is familiar to us all that gives us hope in times of uncertainly and despair. Something
that need not be questioned that ties all things together as one; but why ask and ruin a good thing? Hafiz 14th Century Mystic wrote:
“Those temple establishments included (at the highest point of the mound) the Bagara, belonging to Ningirsu, “Lord of
Girsu”, the god of Lagash; Gatumdug, the “mother of Lagash”; Shagepada, the precinct of Nanshe; the establishment
of the goddess Bau (which has supplied so many documents); and the Ibgal of the goddess of fecundity, Inanna, who
with An, Enlil an Enki is the one of the supreme gods of Sumero-Akkadian pantheon. Enannatun’s reconstruction of the
Ibgal (originally built by his grandfather Urnanshe) within its “temple oval” formed by a platform and enclosing wall
(Maisels p166).”
The importance of Sumerian honor and belief in city gods is reflected in temple structure.  The capital city of the Sumerian city-state Lagash covered an area of 100 hectors; however,
the majority of this land was devoted to gods. Maisels writes,
From The Journal of  A Texas Mystic
Chapter 4
Religion, Ritual, and Beliefs
In the case of recent history of the United States of America of the early twenty-first century, we see this conflict on a two party system or political views or
Republican ideologies and Democratic beliefs. The Republican values of less central Federal Government verses the need of a Federal government to care of
the education or our children, the elderly, and those that suffer from birth defects and a debilitating disease. Both views support they idea of Federal
government to protect or national interest with a Department of Defense,  environmental regulation, and civil rights law enforcement.

The idea that "all men were created equal" that gives a false belief in the American Dream that anyone with initiative can be successful in whatever endeavor
one choses, work well for over two hundred years unit George W. Bush mandated the 911 Patriot act in 2001 that gave unequal access and control to right
wing elite extremist forming dictatorships such as in Texas by Governor Rick Perry who has held office longer than any other Governor and gave himself the
title of a Biblical belief "Prophet James Richard Perry."

In 2006  we see the rise of right wing pseudo -Christian extremist beliefs preached by self proclaimed ruling dictators such as the Governor of Texas which is
really a power struggle of the Elite to maintain power under the guise of Republican  values of free enterprise first introduced by Thomas Hobbs who
extensively wrote philosophical essays  based on  natural law. Later we see Hobbs modified works of John Locke, capitalized by Samuel Adams that is bases of
Capitalism that enforces the idea that all are created equal. Most importantly promotes the American Dream -  The Idea that we all have the right to purse or
happiness. In 2006 a new distorted American Dream emerged- That by free enterprise we all have within our grasp the controlling power of  the elite few that
control the majority of Capital.
Capitalism is a Jeffersonian foundation of the United States that worked well for one-hundred and seventy-five years until those of wealth and Ellette power
used policing powers to protect  their own interest enforced by the 911 Patriot Act that replaced our constitution established a "Global War on Terror,"
promoted a failed "War on Drugs" and two unnecessary wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. A response to an general inquiry letter to those loyal to Barrack Obama
President of the United Sates is a good example of the situation July 4, 2011 published by me hosted by the Burnt Orange Report Web Based media network
as follows:
Self Proclaimed Prophet Texas Governor Rick Perry used his appointment powers of those of Public Trust to create a Red Communist State under the guise of
anti-socialism ideologies of  Republican values with 4,500 appointee's and the only way to get a job in Texas is via these appointee's, I believe this is not only
unconstitutional and bias but as Human Rights Activists say in China "If you do not tow the [Rick Perry's Tea Party Republican] party line you will be placed
under domestic surveillance and confined to your home!" Mary and I were still targets of domestic surveillance of July 4, 2011 and forced us to stay on are farm
unless absolutely necessary for necessities.
To his credit President Barack Obama announce a change in the Police State protection of the wealth few criminalizing the public June 2011. One Week later
Fox News was hacked by these right wing extremist with the announcement that our President had been shoot and killed which was a completely false report on
July 4, 2011. After the announced change in Police State policies of the 911 Patriot Act, I posted this Essay from my journal:
In 2006, what was once reserved for the CIA and FBi is shared with Police at the Texas State street level. Information collected without due cause and total
disregard for Civil Rights has made anyone that opposes the Dictatorship of Texas Governor Rick Perry enemies of State under domestic surveillance forcing
people to confine them self indoors and disconnect any electronic device that can be used to obtain information that will keep Rick Perry in office and give him
impunity to his criminal activities as if above the law.
